Turkey Trot 2017

Thank you for supporting the Wrightsville Beach Turkey Trot! Our race couldn't continue without the support of our amazing volunteers.

Want to get involved?
We need about 100 Volunteers (individuals and/or groups) to make this event a success. We need help with setup, runner registration, t-shirt sales, crowd control, water stop, finish line management, and cleanup.

Wednesday
11-23-17: 12:00p - 7:00 PM - assist in packet pickup (change in location this year; to be held at location of race), prepping the property for race-day, eating copious amounts of pizza.

Thursday (Thanksgiving Day):

Early shift:
6:00am - 8:30am - Setting up fencing, water stop, finish line, and other course logistics.
Race shift:
7:00 - 10:30 Start with registration packet pickup and crowd control, then move onto course marshaling, water stop volunteer, and finally course cleanup.
Race cleanup:
10:00 - 12:00 - Would help with any and all task needed. Volunteers receive our eternal gratitude and a complimentary Turkey Trot t-shirt.
